Palm Bay, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Scott F. Lurkin, a 46 year old Palm Bay, Florida resident has been arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail on suspicion of molesting multiple girls during pool parties at his home.
Lurkin now faces four counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and one count of sexual battery and has been jailed without bond.
According to Palm Bay Police, Lurkin allegedly molested girls who's ages range between 9 and 13 years old.
"Detectives with the Special Victims Unit first received information in May involving allegations that Lurken had sexually battered a 9-year-old female. The incident is believed to have occurred during October, 2007," stated a Palm Bay Police press release. "Further investigation revealed Lurken performed oral sex on the child in his home," it added.
In a separate case occurring between July and August 2007, Lurken kissed an 11-year-old girl on the lips "with his eyes closed" in a lewd manner while rubbing her back and stomach, according to the victim's statement.
On June 1st of this year, yet another victim, aged 13, came forward with similar allegations as the first two victims.
"We have reason to be very concerned that there are many other victims out there who have not yet come forward," said Det. Greg Guillette of the Special Victims Unit. "Many times these victims are afraid to come forward, but it's important in order to protect other," he added.
Lurken has been booked into the Brevard County Jail and is currently being held without bond.
