Hardeeville, South Carolina (The Weekly Vice) -- Eric Lamar Parker, a 25 year old substitute teacher at Hardeeville High School in Hardeeville, South Carolina has been arrested on allegations of the sexual assault of a 15 year old boy.
According to Beaufort Police, Parker met the teen on the popular social networking site MySpace. Investigators believe Parker lied about his age to set up a meeting to entice him into a meet-up on Monday.
Parker picked the victim up from his home, too the boy shopping and then drove him to a hotel, where the two checked in, according to police.
"I don't know whether you can suspend a substitute because they're not full time," said district spokesman Robert Huff, "but I'm certain we will not be using his services in the near future."
Eric Lamar Parker has been charged with committing a lewd act on a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to police.
Parker was arrested at him home on Thursday night. He was then transported to the Beaufort County Detention Center, where he is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.Danny Vice
