Ripley, Tenn. (The Weekly Vice) -- Amy Elder, a 28 year old teacher and softball coach at Ripley High School in Ripley, Tennessee has been arrested and charged with sexual battery and statutory rape involving two female high school students.
Elder was arrested on Tuesday and charged with sexual battery of a minor and statutory rape.
According to police, Elder had an ongoing sexual relationship with a 15 year old girl that occurred between March and June of 2007. Elder allegedly had had another encounter with the teen on New Year's Eve which continued the relationship on from January on into March of 2008.
Before the 15 year old victim, police say Elder had a sexual relationship with a 17 year old girl which began in September of 2006. Police also allege that Elder had an additional sexual encounter on Christmas Day of 2006.
Members of the softball team Elder coached said that although they knew about Elder's sexual orientation, they were surprised that she is alleged to have had sex with a student.
Amy Elder was booked into jail and then released without bond, according to the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office. She has also been suspended from her teaching duties pending the outcome of the case.

I think this is stupid. There is now way she did it. I think these little tramps making up these lies need their asses kicked. Tell me this since Amy can no longer teach b/c of these lies how come these stupid kids making up the lies are still allowed to go to the school? I am disgusted and outraged by the fact the first girl on trial "claimed" to have had sexual encounters with Elder, yet she could not recall one single detail...anyone else smell a rat and a bad liar? Cause I do. What punishments do these girls get for ruining the rep and honor of a teacher?
if she could not recall one single detail how did she tell her lawyers, the juvenile directors, and the judges EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. you need to watch before you call someone a tramp because this could be happening to your child. unless your child IS amy elder.
