Long Island, N.Y. (The Weekly Vice) -- Well, here we go again. Proof positive that you can't convict child predators and then just turn them loose on the street again. I'd ask bleeding heart judges to take notes, but it doesn't matter. They'd simply argue that pervs like this simply need more medication and counseling.
Alfred Balcerak, a 49 year old registered sex offender who was convicted back in 1998 of molesting a 9 year old girl and a 14 year old boy, is back at it. After a slap on the wrist for his prior offenses, he is now charged with second-degree sexual assault, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a minor.
According to the arrest affidavit, Balcerak opened an upholstery business which doubled as his residents back in April of this year. Shortly after setting up shop, he apparently began interacting with children, a violation of his sex offender status.
In May, just a month after opening his business, police say he noticed two boys aged 13 and 14, walking past his store front. Balcerak immediately went to work grooming the boys by offering to hire them on a cash payment basis (obviously to avoid a paper trail).
"He roughhoused with them and grabbed them in their private parts" through their clothing, said Det. Lt. Karl Schoepp. "When they got upset, there were times when he would tell them, 'Man up, this is what men do, play roughhouse,'" added Det. Schoepp.
The mother of the 14 year old boy became concerned at the man's behavior and decided to research her son's employer only to discover he had previously been convicted as a level 2 sex offender in the state registry. She immediately notified Nassau police who arrested and chargedBalcerak on Sunday, according to Det. Schoepp.
According to court records, Balcerak was previously convicted to a felony sex offense against two minors, but was only sentenced to probation.
In December of 2007, Balcerak violated the terms of his probation by failing to report his address to authorities as terms of his sex offender status. As a result, he spent a mere 45 days in jail and was again released on probation.
Alfred Balcerak was arraigned yesterday, June 9th, and ordered held on a $250,000 bond.

So the question of the day is this. Why would a sex offender take the act of molesting children seriously, when it's pretty clear the bleeding heart judges who dump idiots like this back onto the streets don't seem to take the issue seriously?
How many kids have to be molested, raped, groped, grabbed and fondled to satisfy a judge? Perhaps if it were the Judge's children, they'd feel a little more motivated to stop pampering child molesters with probation.
It's for reasons like this that this site exists. We'd like to comment the mom who took enough interest in her son to catch onto Balcerak's suspect behavior. Here is a case where information was the saving grace that empowered this mother to protect her child. This is exactly the goal of our site and the intent of our service. Great work, Mom!

the two kids are my best friends. u wud not even be able to guess how messed up they are. :( that man actually tried to hire me when i was with my friend and he seemed weird. i was waiting at my friends house (the one whol was touched) nd i called him. he said that they were on their way. it was a 5 min. drive from the upholstery shop to his house. i called back 10 min. later and i said where are you? and he seemed all upset and his boss wanted to talk to me. he said stop busting --------'s (sorry i dont wanna give the name) balls. he cursed after that and then they arrived 10 min. later. it was strange to me. im also 14 and this is devastating.

Dear Anonymous, What do you mean by "he is doing the same thing right now". I am upset, I have furniture being done there and have been in the shop several times with my 3 yr old son. I have not been able to reach him on the phone and nobody is ever in the shop, so when I went there today I looked at the name on the mail and boxes that were left for several days)to get a name and try to find an alternante phone #. I came across this site when I looked up his name and Bethpage.I am upset with myself for putting my child in the same vicinity as him even though I was unaware of his past. It's pretty scary that I now have to worry about what stores I bring my children in to and not knowing who is running them.
Just wanted to let you all know...( and with quite a bit of shame I might add) he was arrested again. I know this because 1: he is my uncle (not by choice) and 2: because the asshole had the shit-wit to do something so heinous in the first place, and then do it again. I was only told becase my ma wanted me to know to be especially cautious for my grans sake over Christmas. He is s sick FUCK and my ma was right to call the jail and ask them to lock his ASS in the farthest corner from humanity and throw away the key! To the kid who posted as the friend, from my perspective you are w smart kid and stay that way! And no, my husband and I agreed a long time ago we would never let our kids EVER see him. Please people in N.Y. protest outside the court if you have to! And this is coming from his blood. If I could be there to make sure his ASS was locked up forever I would, and funny thing, so would my ma and gram... so if anyone's got any doubts about him, keep away. Just as we, his blood, have been doing for years. And pray for the kids whose lives he has fucked up. Cause I know I am sorry for them, and always will be. But its just my opinion of this animal, take it or leave it.
This man does deserve to be locked up. When he was kinda owning dun rite upholstry in bethpage he hired a couple of 18 year old boys and 17 year old boy. I heard he use to give his car out so the boys can drive and get around all the time. I heard he was mentally fu*ked up really bad. He looks like it and acts like it. I know the kids who use to work for him and they say good thing he didn't try touching me I would of been in jail or dead right now and this kinda scares me cause that's really true. They said he use to ask them really weird questions horse play. His best friend was his dog. They also said that he use to drive a porsche and he use to stare at little girls and check them out. Also they said he use to speed and put there life in danger in that car. He deserves to be locked up for a very long time. Expecially that when he was in bethpage he also hired a minor. He is never gunna learn I think he should be locked up and maybe he should get the other side of the barrell and get raped in jail. I wanted to be the voice of these young men and also let you guys know more of what really went on.
