Tracy Hinson - Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Student - CHARGES HAVE BEEN DROPPED

Charges in this case have been dropped

Tiptonville, Tenn. (The Weekly Vice) -- Tracy Hinson, a 38 year old science teacher at Lake County High School in Tiptonville, Tennessee has been charged with contributing to the unruly behavior of minor.

Police have now charged the woman, but have not yet elaborated on the charge. She is also under investigation for the sexual assault of a 16 year old student.

While police have not yet confirmed this, Hinson has been accused of having sex with a student before he was expelled from the school for drug use. The student brought a cell phone to school which allegedly contained photos and text messages that show a sexual relationship existed between himself and the teacher. School official then contacted authorities.

Hinson was then called to the office Thursday afternoon, where she was suspended by the school and taken into immediate custody.

Hinson is a long-term teacher with the school district who began teaching at Lake County High School in 1992. Aside from her chemistry and geometry classes, she taught dance and cheerleading.
