Clermont, Fla. (The Weekly Vice) -- Stephen Berry, a teacher at Clermont High School in Clermont, Florida resigned his position when a video surfaced showing him wrestling students, slamming one into the floor.
Police first became aware of the incident when a parent brought a cell phone video of the teacher's behavior to a Clermont High School officials, who then contacted police.
The video shows three wrestling matches that the teacher had with students, picking a student off the ground, knocking aside desks and slamming a student to the ground. Authorities say a student had recorded the wrestling match on his cell phone, which eventually reached police.
Police have reportedly considered pressing charges, while noting that the victim's family haven't returned deputies calls.
School officials have acknowledged Berry's resignation, but have not yet accepted it, explaining that they were investigating the incident and hadn't yet completed it.
