UPDATE:
Corona, CA (The Weekly Vice) -- Richard Angulo, a 34 year old math teacher and baseball coach at Centennial High School in Corona, California may be facing additonal charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child younger than 14 according to court records.
As pointed out by a reader, Richard Angulo's case records were updated to reflect that 18 additional counts of lewd acts with a child under 14 were added on May 6th, a few days after the initial 2 counts of lewd acts were initially filed by prosecutors.
Angulo has also been charged with 2 counts of continued sexual abuse of a child younger than 14, bringing the total charges to 22.
We have not been able to confirm the additional charges on an arrest warrant and we are not aware of Mr. Angulo going before a judge to hear the additional charges against him. Thus we can only resource the court's online records database at this time.

According to police, Angulo molested a young boy repeatedly over the course of an entire decade, beginning in 1995. Police also say there may also be additional victims, and are conducting interviews of the victim's boyhood friends.
Police said Angulo met the boy, who was about 10 at the time, while while he was a parishioner at Crossroads Christian Church in Corona. Angulo is suspected of molesting the boy at his home and other areas in Corona, according to police Sgt. Jerry Pawluczenko.
Police first became aware of the alleged incidents when the victim, who is now an adult that has moved out of the area, tipped them to the Angulo's alleged conduct.
Corona Police have charged Angulo with two counts of committing lewd acts with a child under 14 and two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Angulo was arrested at his home on Monday and was ordered held on a $150,000 bond. A second arrest was then issued, which led to a bail enhancement. Bail has now been increased to $1 million dollars.

Many people ask why arrests like this happen after a molested child becomes an adult. The answer to that can be various, but many times it has to do with a child growing up, realizing how patently wrong the activity of the adult was, and then coming to the realization that the molester may fix his/her attention on a new victim.
Police in this case haven't disclosed a lot of what they know quite yet, but they have announced that the interviews that they've conducted HAVE in fact corroborated much of what the victim told them. It sounds like the victim did a good thing coming forward. Although his own abuse has ended (at least physically), we're happy to know he came to the conclusion that Angulo's behavior had to be stopped at some point. For that, we commend him.

You want to know why it took him so long to speak, he was not molested as a child he had a relationship with him as a man and then that went bad so know it has to be charged as abuse....tell me would you go on luxury vacations or visit him at school and take him to lunch. If he molested me I wouldn't but the so called victim did. Everyone knew him at the school and everyone would see him bringing lunch and going out to lunch together. So get the facts straight! One relationship gone bad a whole life ruined!!!!
My facts are straight - as taken from the police report itself. And I have clearly titled the offense as an 'allegation' at this point.
Angulo's life is not ruined because a relationship went bad. His life is ruined because he 'allegedly' molested a boy from the age of 12.
A 12, 13, 14, or 15 year old boy cannot consent to a sexual relationship with an adult, period.
It's illegal. Period.
Just because the boy was molested until early adulthood, does not excuse Mr. Angulo from beginning the whole cycle to begin with.
It's hard to imagine that you'd seriously try to normalize the rape of a 12 year old boy as a "relationship".... I certainly hope YOU aren't starting relationships with 12 year old boys under such a guise.
My speculation about why many victims wait until adulthood to report molesting is my opinion, which is clearly stated and categorized as my opinion.

Whoever posted comment #1 is an absolute idiot. Their have been multiple people that have come forward saying the same thing. I know Richard. The man only hangs out with young teenage boys. Go to his house and you will see him in pictures with young boys or his mom. No adult friends or girl friends. The man is sick and I tell you that anyone who would defend this man before they have heard all the facts is either a parent who let Richard watch their kids or a pedophile looking out for their own.
Really you have been to his house! Well then you should have seen all the pictures of him and his adult friends and you must of been there at one of his adult parties! Not a kid party but adult party!! No he did not molest several boys ! it is one man who went on luxury vacations and spent numerous hours with him, The so called victim needs to speak the truth and no the police report does not say several people have came out it says friends of the victim have came to say it happened. What will you do if it comes to light that there are 5 or 10 or 20 more victims? How many would it take? What if the police find substantial evidence? Oh come on. Because you are bias towards Richard in this situation. This is why we have a judicial system. This is why we are judged by a jury of our peers. If Richard really is innocent then I guess he has nothing to worry about. But just so you know the news has stated that there are more victims in the case.
Well its evident that Comment 1 and 4 are the same person. Its also evident that you work at Centennial High School. What troubles me is how do you know? How do you know he is innocent? How can you be so sure? Think about it. Many serial killers, rapist, or child molesters have been held in good standings by friends, family and neighbors. What if the victim you mention was in fact abused by Mr. Angulo? What if there are more? If that is the case then maybe the one ruining lives is the man you are so vehemently defending. Guess we will all find out when the facts come forward at the trial.

If you were student at Centennial and you knew of another victim, that just yesterday made the decision to go forward, and one of your teachers was supporting Mr.Angulo and speaking to him every day from jail and you had a pretty good idea that many of the support blogs were from her, what would you do? As I sit here and read through all the nonsense, I think who is doing this? Who is convicting someone before they have went to trial. Who is defending someone before they know all the facts.
Yes I am from Corona and I know how it works. Yes everyone in the whole town usually knows more then any news media. So for that comment you are right, Corona is very well known for knowing all the facts.
For what it is worth I know Richard Angulo as well as the entire Angulo family, it is hard for many people to believe such horrible stories, who knows if they are true.
One thing I know is the Angulo family always sticks together no matter what. I hope the family is okay as well as everyone else involved. That is something we need to remember mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, and everyone else all get affected by this, so all of this fighting back and forth name calling is just worthless. So many people are suffering and hurting.
If he did do it then his mother is going to be devastated as well as the mothers from all the victims. If he did not do it then his mother/family is going to be devastated just the same.
So you all can fight and call names all day long but there are just to many people involved, to many lives are going to be forever ruined.

I just need to say. I made a bad decision a long time ago standing up against my family for a man i thought i knew. This man is not innocent. He hurt someone very close to me a long time ago and i refused to see it then. But i am grown up now and see the falsety to my beliefs. It is not just a relationship gone bad. I know FIRST hand there were other victims.

3. Did the victim really have a relationship with Mr. Angulo
4. Who did the victim continue to get molested for 10 years at the age of 22?
5. Did people really see the victim with Mr. Angulo all the time?
6. Did the Victim really go on Vacations with Mr. Angulo?
7. Were all the victims friends? and they were all in there 20's was it an Orgy?
8. Why does everyone believe he is innocent?
9. Why on the court minutes does it only say 22 counts of the same person?
10. Why do all the victims all know each other and are all very good friends? Seems weird?
Anyhow I just read through all of this and I need answers and I need to understand please help me understand!

For those who claim to know everyone involved in this case, please consider carefully what you write and say about this. Even if everything alleged is true, this man deserves to have his case heard fairly.
Anyone that truly knows Mr. Angulo remembers that this is not the first time an accusation has been made against him.
Everyone should just allow the system to do its task and root out the truth.
I don't know everyone involved but I do know that my son was among the 7 young boys that we now know were molested by Richard. My son was just 9 when it started. Richard stole his childhood and his innocence with his henious behavior. My son and I met Richard at church, and thought he was a good guy. He is a monster and the truth will come out. There is plenty of evidence to convict him, and not just a few boys trying to heal, but several parents, siblings and friends of the molested are now trying to heal and recover as well. We will heal I believe, by the grace of God, but Richard will get what he deserves for not only molesting boys, but for representing himself as a "man of God" to kids, parents and the church.

Following this case closely it seems as money was involved and the "Victim" had been known to have an ongoing consentual relationship with the "Accused", I follow things like this closely due to the fact I was wrongly accused and never lived it down. I have been doing a lot of investigation in to this case, even going to the Riverside court house. DO NOT GET ME WRONG - if he is guilty then fry him, but if he is innocent give him his life back. I recently heard things from my own investigations which leads me to believe he is innocent. Most of the comments on this page are from the same person, currently there is truly only 1 man who is claiming this has been done to him. Sat in the courthouse and heard for my self. I do not think this man is guilty, after following case the only thing I can say is maybe he is innocent. This is very hard on everyone people's lives are ruined even if proven innocent. I KNOW!!! To the last posting "life in hell" - I guess you don't get out much while in hell...if you did you would know there are at lease THREE victims of this monster's molestation noted in the minutes of the prelim. That's why they call them DOE #1, DOE #2 and DOE #3. My guess is you are a child molester too that's why you're sticking up for this monster who obviously has many, many more victims than just the three on the record. Try reading a few books on child predators and psychopathic behavior - you might see yourself in those pages along with this monster. Angulo will be seeing you in hell I'm sure.

Corona Man Accused Of Molesting 3 Boys From Church
RIVERSIDE A 34-year-old Corona man accused of sexually molesting three boys he knew from a local church was ordered Friday to stand trial on multiple counts of lewd conduct.
Richard Angulo is charged with 24 counts of lewd and lascivious conduct on three boys, ages 11-13, whom he allegedly molested in the mid-1990s, according to a criminal complaint.
He is free on $1 million bail.
At a preliminary hearing Friday to determine whether there was enough evidence for Angulo to stand trial, two Corona police detectives testified that the alleged victims accused Angulo of "touching them, having them touch him and having them touch each other," said Riverside County Deputy District Attorney Elan Zekster.
Angulo's attorney, Peter Morreale, was not immediately available for comment.
The alleged molestation began sometime in 1994, when Angulo moved into one of the boy's homes, according to Zekster.
He said the family knew Angulo from Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, of which the then-20-year-old defendant was a member.
Based on a church reference, the boy's family offered Angulo room-and-board, the prosecutor said.
"The defendant would meet other boys through the main victim," Zekster said.
Zekster said one of the alleged victims claims Angulo molested him into his late teens.
According to the prosecutor, Corona police began investigating Angulo earlier this year when one of the alleged victims came forward, leading to the identification of other possible victims.
Riverside Superior Court Judge Craig Riemer scheduled a post-preliminary arraignment for Angulo on Sept. 19.
It's funny how everyone says "HE'S GUILTY." I remember many years ago a family (McMartins) in Manhattan Beach being accused of molesting children at a daycare, everyone was sure they were guilty. This family was ruined. OH GUESS WHAT? It was all lies.
Untill he is found GUILTY by the courts no one can say for sure. Only he and the accusers know forsure. Last week my son sent me a text to "google RICHARD ANGULO CORONA" I was concerned that something awful had happened to him. This was the last thing I expected to see. I felt sick and was concerned for my son. Had this MONSTER touched my son. Had something happened and I hadn't seen the signs?
I have met Mr. Angulo through my son, my son was a students of his. I talked with my son and ask him what he thought. He's upset about it all. Ofcourse he doesn't know if he is guilty or innocent. He looked up to him. He is a teacher that my son truely felt cared about students. My son did very well in his Algebra class, and felt it was due to the help of his caring teacher. My son left Centennial High but when he graduated from a different school his favorite teacher attended his graduation. I was very impressed by this. After my son graduated they met for lunch and dinner on a few occasions. I ask my son if he had ever done or said anything to make him feel uneasy. He said never in any way. I ask as many questions as I could so I could feel that he was telling me the truth. I do believe my son that nothing had ever happened.
I am sure that everyone reading this has at one time or another has been accused of doing something they hadn't done. Proving yourself innocent isn't always the easiest thing.
Like the rest of you reading this I do not know what the real truth is. But I do pray it is a lie. If it is infact true, there will be many people hurt. And if it is not true there will also be many people hurt by nasty lies.
I guess I would like to believe there are more good people than bad people.
