Whitewright, TX (The Weekly Vice) -- Michael Scott Call, 44, a teacher at Whitewright Middle School in Whitewright, Texas has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor while at the school.
According to police, Call engaged in sexually elicit sexual conversations over the computer with an undercover investigator he thought was a 14 year old female.
Investigators say the chats between Call and the would-be 14 year old were sexually explicit. He also used a webcam to perform sexual acts for the girl to watch and solicited her to have sex with him.
Investigators expedited the arrest when they discovered that the i.p. address Call was communicating from belonged to the school. Police made an arrest at the school while Call was allegedly still online chatting with the would-be teen.
The Santa Fe Police Dept. said that Call had been participating in the online chats with the 'girl' since February.
“I continue to be amazed and appalled by the number of people who participate with the on-line solicitation of minor children. We see this type of arrest on the news and on national television program’s all the time, but I was hoping I wouldn’t see it in Grayson County," said Keith Gray of the Grayson County Sheriff's Dept.
Call was charged with 'solicitation of a minor' and has been jailed on a $50,000 bond
