Lutz, FL (The Weekly Vice) -- Nicole Marie Van Neil, a 22 year old Florida woman who is 8 months pregnant has been arrested for DUI again. And again. And again. And Again.
Hillsborough County Deputies noticed Van Neil's car swerving across the yellow line while driving her vehicle on April 17th. When they pulled the vehicle over, they found 8 month pregnant Van Neil and a strong odor of marijuana.
Police also found marijuana stored in a pill bottle and a marijuana pipe hidden under the driver's seat. They also found additional drug paraphernalia stored in the vehicle's center console.
Police charged Van Neil with DUI, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
As if that wasn't enough of a train wreck, authorities soon learned that this isn't the first go around for Nicole Van Neil. This isn't the second time and it's not the third time.
Despite being a little more than a year over the legal drinking age, Van Neil has been arrested and charged with DUI on three previous occasions.
Van Neil's previous arrests occurred in February of 2004, April of 2005 and May of 2005. Interestingly enough, these three arrests occurred before Van Neil was even of legal drinking age.
The Weekly Vice Opinion:
Does anyone really believe that this was the first instance Van Neil smoked up heavy and hard during her pregnancy? Not likely. With an ample stock of fresh bud, rolling papers and a roller paper machine, Van Neil is all set to ensure her child pops out as drug addicted as possible.
Will family services keep an eye on this revolving train wreck? Considering Florida makes up nearly half of all child abuse/neglect cases in the country - it's not likely unfortunately.
Let's just hope her hopelessly addicted baby doesn't have the same droop eye that mama dope seems to have. That would be two strikes against him/her.
Jeez.... could someone just smack her upside the head ONCE for us?
