Port, St. Lucie, FL (The Weekly Vice) -- Kelly L. Barber, a 47 year old woman who was conducting a Weight Watcher's product demonstration has been arrested and accused of shoplifting cup cakes and other items, according to Port St. Lucie authorities.
Barber, who was reportedly demonstrating the weight loss products at a Port St. Lucie Publix Supermarket, was spotted by store security concealing the items in a blue bin. She then exited the store without paying for the items.
The items Barber allegedly stole, included Weight Watcher's cupcakes, a book and a box of teeth whitening strips.
According to a police affidavit, Barber admitted to the theft of the items, explaining that she "Just wanted to whiten her teeth". She also admitting that it was stupid she stole the items.
No explanation was given for why she stole the cupcakes.
Barber, a Fort Pierce resident, has been charged with misdemeanor theft and was released pending a hearing on the matter.
