Largo, FL (The Weekly Vice) -- Dr. Kayode Sotonwa, a 42 year old doctor was arrested a second time amid allegations that he sexually molested multiple women during physical exams.
Nine different women have now come forward to authorities, alleging that the Sotonwa molested them in his office during their medical examinations. Two of the women who say Sotonwa molested them are 14 and 15 year old girls.
According to police, Sotonwa groped and fondled the various women during exams for things the women had not reported.
“The victims would go to the doctor for a simple procedure, or simple check up, or a routine issue, and somehow through the exam. The doctor would lead them into, either he's fondling their breasts, or he's touching them inappropriately, “ Lt. Mike Loux said.
Among the complaints, one woman stated that Sotonwa fondled her breasts for 15 minutes. Another woman stated “He examined my inner thighs with a business card, then asked me to take off my clothes so he could place the card near my bottom. When I would make a noise, he said 'it makes me horny when you do that'.”
Dr. Sotonwa was arrested about a week ago on charges of batter and sexual battery. He was arrested again a week later on two additional felony counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts on children under the age of 16.
One patient went to Sotonwa complaining about heaviness in the chest and to receive a checkup for menopause. According to police, Sotonwa determined that she had a urinary tract infection and "told her to take it easy on the sex." When the patient said she was abstinent, the doctor told her to strip off her clothes. He then touched her inappropriately.
Another patient came to Sotonwa on referral for a gall bladder surgery and a routine mammogram. When Sotonwa offered to give the woman a breast exam, the woman refused, demonstrating on herself how she gives herself regular exams. He told her she was doing it all wrong and proceeded to fondle her breasts for about 15 minutes. He then allegedly told the woman that she could be his girlfriend if she wanted to.
Sotonwa was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and ordered held on $40,750 bond.

On 5/13/09 The doctor was found not guilty at trial in Pinellas County Florida. Six of the charges were dropped (nolle pross'ed) by the State Attorney before trial. On all the remaining charges the doctor was found not guilty.
Thats just how they roll in the congo were he's from!
