Dino Jay Schwertz - School Janitor Rapes Two 10 Year Old Boys, Confesses To The Crime

Slidell, La (The Weekly Vice) -- Dino Jay Schwertz, a 41 year old janitor who worked at W.L. Abney Elementary School has been arrested and charged with six counts of aggravated rape against two ten year old boys who were students at the school.

According to court documents, Schwertz raped both boys three times during school hours in the school bathrooms when he worked for the school. Schwertz was employed at Abney between July of 2007 and January of 2008.

Police first became aware of the situation in November when a mother of one of the boys had complained to school officials and the police department that her son had been bullied and assaulted by another boy. After interviewing the boys, councilors and police determined that Schwartz had raped the boys.

Schwertz is the second person to be charged with aggravated rape in Slidell this year. In January, Robert Friday was arrested and accused of repeatedly raping a child between the ages of 8 and 11 during 18 months starting in 2002.

Police say that Schwertz has confessed to the allegations. The crime Schwertz has been charged with is a capitol offense in Louisiana, punishable with life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
