Palm City, Fla (The Weekly Vice) -- Margot "Peggy" Cioffi, the 59 year old head of 'The Comprehensive Offender Rehabilitation and Education' program in Florida was arrested for DUI (Driving Under The Influence).
Cioffi, who's classes are normally mandated for persons convicted of drinking and driving, failed a breath test, blowing a 0.336 blood alcohol level test. She was arrested at her home about an hour and a half after an auto accident in Palm City.
According to authorities, Cioffi is accused of striking another vehicle with her SUV and then driving home. When a deputy tried to handcuff her, she resisted while screaming so loud that neighbors came out of their homes.
Cioffi has now been charged with DUI, property damage, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication. She has been released pending a $2,000 bond.
