Gilbert Arizona Student And Bus Driver Brawl On Bus
Gilbert, AZ (The Weekly Vice) -- Kim Sullivan, a 54 year old bus driver for the Higley Unified School District, found herself embroiled in a dispute with a student who insisted that she be let off the bus. All of it was caught on camera.
Gilbert police released this copy of district video tape showing the dispute between Sullivan and the brawling Williams Field High School teen.
The dispute began after the student called her mother to tell her about the problem.
She then handed the phone to the bus driver who said she was going to call 911 but then threw the phone aside. At that point the student attacked the driver, drawing the bus driver's daughter and another student into the shoving match.
Gilbert police are investigating the matter, including the bus driver and three of the teens.
The bus driver has been reassigned while officials investigate.
