Waukesha (The Weekly Vice) -- Police obtained and executed a search warrant on the home of registered sex offender Scott E. Ziegler. What they found is both disturbing and incredible.
Scott E. Ziegler, a registered sex offender residing in Waukesha has been under the watchful eye of the police for some time. Based on probable cause, police executed a warrant to search Ziegler's home. They found a 14 year old girl under the covers in a locked room wearing a dog collar according to court documents filed Wednesday at the Waukesha County Courthouse.
This is the second such go-around that police have uncovered involving Ziegler and the 14 year old girl. On January 18th, police found Ziegler and the same girl (with dog collar attached) in a car after she had been reported missing. The new search warrant was approved by a Court Commissioner when the 14 year old minor was again reported as a runaway.
Despite Ziegler's status as a registered sex offender, he worked at a retail store called "Twisted" that is known to be popular among young people, according to police. Authorities began to monitor Ziegler's actions at that time, although the store closed down several months ago.
Ziegler has also been accused of harboring runaway girls in exchange for drugs and alcohol. It's also believed that Ziegler uses these instances to engage in sexual activities with the under-aged girls.
Ziegler is being held in the Waukesha County Jail on $100,000 bond. Charges are expected to be filed shortly.

Alright, this story wins the January, 2008 wacky sex perv award, hands (pants) down. I'm not sure how a sex offender goes to work at a trendy teen hangout without quicker action from authorities, but perhaps timing is everything in this business. The town must seriously consider passing some additional leash law legislation soon.
It is also hard to avoid the question of how a dog collar continuously becomes a common theme with Ziegler's fetishes. For Pete's sake, think of the animals in Ziegler's home too. Victims come in all shapes and ....um...species in the Ziegler freak show.

The girl probably just had a studded collar on. A sort of goth thing. To some old fart police chief, I'm sure it looks like a dog collar. This doesn't of course excuse the dude from being a complete pervert who should be locked up.
He owned Twisted and moved it from Waukesha to West Allis, probably to avoid the police scrutiny he knew he was under. It's understandable why his young daughter is so messed up (had a baby at 15), ran away from "home" last year. Has been in and out of mental health facilities. This had got to be messing her up even more. Thanks, Scott. You are the gift that just keeps on giving.
Yeah, this might be pretty messed up, but I think getting a few facts before saying too much is important. Obviously the guy has issues. As for his daughter... well she had her first child at almost 17 yrs old. (still not okay). And despite both her MOM and dad doing what they could some teens just rebel, end of story. Also that girl he was caught with ranaway and went BACK to him.. hmm this girl has issues too I guess. No accounting for taste.
Making light of this situation is wrong. This man is not a "perv," he is a dangerous sex offender who should never be released from prison. To use this poor girl's victimization as a means to try to be funny (which you most certainly are not, Danny) is in some of the worst taste possible. In fact, it is morally apprehensible. Maybe when you have a daughter you will understand how this is no laughing matter. In the mean time, shame on you for trivializing what has happened to these young ladies.

Contrary to your asserions, I do have kids - and post these stories for the very purpose of exposing the problem.
This particular case however does have a humorous edge to it however because the man was caught in an embarassing situation - and I absolutely WILL shine a spotlight on his actions, for all the stupidity he has shown in carrying out his acts.
If you had read the article, you would also note that the girl ran away twice to be with the man. Obviously this is not a case where the girl was victimized against her will. She is indeed a victim, but we are not going to stop exposing idiots like this just because you want to have a sob session.
Until there is public scruntiny, and idiots like these are shunned and mocked by society for their heinous acts, they will go on doing it.
Our legal system has become so watered down with plea bargains for crimes like this, that jail time is no longer a deterrant.
Shame on you for rebuking those who take massive amounts of their time to highlite these cases. What have YOU done for the cause lately 'anonymous'?
It could be that since he spent most of his young adult life incarcerated for an unrelated charge, he was trying to recapture those years. Preying on the vulnerability of teens is SO wrong. In their attempt to be "adults" they got drawn in by someone who acted as if he cared about their well-being, gave them a place to party, and HE got drawn into the lifestyle too. It is sad all the way around.
If you choose to be in an industry that promotes drug use and kinky sex, you start to feel that it is the norm. It is not, nor should it ever be. There is alot more going on here than alot of people know.
I hope the general teen public will wake up and not allow themselves to be victimized by people who have a hidden agenda.
The pain and suffering he has caused deserves to be punished. Not only for the teens he hurt and their families, but for his own family who now have to live with the shame of his crimes.
I don't care if some of the girls were "willing victims", we have statutory rape laws for a reason. Girls that age THINK they are in control of their actions when in reality they cannot see what repercutions it will have on them in the future.

As for the guy who said the dog collar was probably a goth thing.. Putting a LEASH on the collar kind of shows that is was a collar one would find on an animal. Regardless, the girl was 14 YEARS OLD. No man should have ever taken her into his apartment without their being consequences. This guy is sick and needs to be punished. He has obviously had this sort of behavior before and hasn't learned from it. So now maybe he will be able to sit behind some bars and realize what a fucked up individual he is. I hope he has a long, long time to think about the bad choices he has made.
Wow. I worked with this guy for two years, and I can honestly say that this isn't surprising. He was a very weird guy, very creepy.

I lived with Scott (unfortunate I know)
he's a manipulative lying scum bag.
But there was NO leash. The goth theory is true. She wore a dog collar. ( ironically I used to babysit this girl before we even met Scott)
and she was gothic.
Second Scott was a creep to the girls who put themselves out there. I'm all for his sentence but I personally knew the girls involved and I don't care if they were teens or adults they knew exactly what they were doing and should also get in trouble. ( prostitution maybe?)

Yet i can't lie. Alot of the early to late 20 guys who testified, where doing exactly what Scott did.
Only diff was, Scott was a weirdo to everyone to your face all the guys who testified against him would drug girls or try stuff with them while they were sleeping.

The person above me knows about Ziegler. I know about Ziegler as well, I've known him in person and the girls victimized were my friends. Ok, Katie the dog collar girl was gothic. The part that wasn't mentioned is that the days before Ziegler was arrested she lost her fucking mind because he gave her too much ecstacy. She started to believe that she was a cat. I'm sure she was wearing the dog collar for a gothic statement but then she lost her marbles. He was abusing her in front of everyone. Everyone knew what was up. When I was reading the court papers, I found out that certain people had to call him "GOD". The story gets worse, I know it. You don't think that I'm not fucked up from knowing these people? I'm sure the person above me is scum as well. I should have never hung out with these people, bottom of the barrel. Well I'm in college now- (not a shitty college) and doing something with my life. Changed my life. I'd hate to find out who the person is above because I probably met them once or a couple of times, or etc. and would recognize them as scum.
