(The Weekly Vice) - Wayne Wykof, a 49 year old Ohio resident, was tasered during his 13th DUI arrest Thursday after he allegedly refused to stop biting himself.
What's more, the suspect also reportedly spit in an officer's face while he was being placed in a holding cell. Video cameras recorded the defiant man as he refused to cooperate with officers who were processing the arrest. The man also stripped and exposed himself to several officers.
Wykof may be charged with a felony count of harassment with a bodily substance.

The real story here is not necessarily the spitting or the non-cooperation of the arrested man. Officers encounter unruly drunks on a daily basis. What insults the imagination in this instance is how a man is free to get behind the wheel after 12 prior DUI arrests or convictions.
This man qualifies in most states as a habitual violator after the 3rd or 4th DUI conviction. This designation (if the state of Ohio wasn't asleep at the wheel) should have triggered longer jail time long before arriving at a 13th DUI arrest.
It's just another example of how habitual violators like this are walking the street while first time petty offenders are using up valuable prison real estate for minor possession charges. The war on drugs is a failed policy, and cases like this aggravate that failure further.
We'll be looking at this case further to see what kind of sentences have been imposed on the accumulative DUI count. We'd like to know how the Judge from the 11th and 12th DUI charges overlooked the obvious danger this man imposes on society with his habit. How many other times did the man drive while intoxicated and NOT get caught?

Maybe the judges in question have a drinking and driving problem.
I loate drunk drivers with all my being. I'd like to round them all up and use a tazer the size of Texas turned up as high as it could go to electrocute the shit out of them all. On public television.

It truly is an outrage that a person with 12 DUI's is free on the street to drive, especially since he's SHOWN direct contempt of at least 8 or 9 other courts who should have ordered him NOT to drive.

the man has only known a couple things in life. drinking,driving,
and being in prison. I know this because that man is my "Biological"
father. to me hes just my lesson in life but in definition sense hes my dad. Wayne has always believed like said before "hes above the law" he sits in that place figuring ways to pull out the minipulation card and get people in the courtroom to feel bad hes got two techinical daughter and one that was concieved out of a affair in which he has no contact with his third daught he just knows her birth and her name. thats all. i cut him off at 16 and my younger sister well she doesnt care for him. shes got her family,friends, and I there for her. thats all she needs and thats all i need to. truthfully--
this is all nonsense why debate amoung themselves whether he should be freed or not. by now chances and room for improvement wont work. he needs to be locked up in a bigger cell and let him sit there for the rest of his life. cos one day whether it be a year from now til the ten years...he'll get out and do it again and next time he may just kill someone. he wont stop his shit... hes too safe and secure to his path of life. hes a failure as a adult, as a son, brother, father. hes just bad at everthing.

Need a say more to why he ticked me off. he is suppose to be my father, the man who help creat me, love me, raise me, and be by my side for birthdays, holidays, graduation, weddings, loves, heart breaks, children, and life... and instead he refuses to let himself get the help he needs and do the right thing and live outside of prison cells and walls. he's truely a waste of time. he shouldnt exsist and he doesnt when hes locked away in prison. thats why he should get life to be locked away and never be known again. by the way his next court date with grand jury as requested by wayne is the 18th of this month. i shall be there to smirk and laugh at him as he gets his sentence ill let you guys know whats up.
